Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Harassment at work

I worked at a large corporation for alomost two years. I recently left due harassment in the work place. My fellow co-workers harassed me about my personal life and my work ability. I discussed these issues with my boss but nothing was taken care. I also complained about some sexual gestuures that were made to be by a fellow co-worker, he received a warning but then told other employees that I had made such a compliant and I was made fun of.

I receive several phone calls a day that are work related, but my manager was sceptical of them so she forwared all my calls to her desk. They started to watch over me the more I brought up the problems. I felt like they were looking for a reason to let me go. It seemed the more I tried to resolve the issues in the work place the blame was turned and put on me.

Do you think I have a case for harassment in the work place?

Re: Harassment at work

Harassment is not illegal, unless it is based on sex, gender, race, etc. OR, unless you are retaliated against for complaining of such illegal harassment. If that is what was happening, then you may have a case. Your facts are not clear. Contact me to discuss whether you have a case or not.
