Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California
statutory rape laws
Can you tell me if a parent who allows their 16 year old daughter to date a 22 year old man, with the knowledge that they are having consensual sexual relations, is guilty of any crime? Would they be considered conspirators to the crime of statutory rape? Thanks Perry

Re: statutory rape laws
They may be guilty of the crimes of child neglect and endangerment, and are certainly negligent in parenting.
