Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

california red light camera trial

A speeding motorist was increasing speed and honking behind motorist in lane beside me, suddenly came behind me, light changed, I looked and quickly ran it to avoid being rearended. Went to init. court date, judge didn't want any words just guilty or not..I said not, he set trial. What defense do I have. He watched the video and said he didn't see a car behind yet the picture clearly shows it behind me.

Do I have any defense? I would not be here to ask had I stopped!

Check the Nolo Press book "How to Fight Your Traffic Ticket". This is an excellent book and will probably have information on how to fight this ticket.
