Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California
I am from Belarus. I live in San Francisco, US now.
One of my relatives in Belarus, received call from Belarussian Government firm that he got inheritance from US. Belarussian firm doesnt disclose any information about inheritance. According to them, he has to sign contract before disclosing any information. Contract says that they will get 20% + business trips to US, + US lawyers fee+ taxes e.c.t.c
What does the law say? Do they have to disclose information before signing contract?
Is it any specific organization in US which contacts international government to find people for inheritance?

MissingMoney.com is a database of governmental unclaimed property records. You should check to see if any relative who was living in the US may have died with unclaimed property.
There are businesses who search the records and then try to find the rightful heirs to the unclaimed property. They typically demand a percentage before they will disclose where the property is. You can do your own search and make your own claim without going through the company.
