Re: LLC Partner removal

The answer is going to depend upon what your LLC operating agreement provides for the removal of a member (partner). You mention "buyout" so I am assuming that you are willing to buyout his or her interest. Depending upon whether he or she owns a minority or majority interest will determine the value of their interest.Prior to taking any action you should consult an attorney who handles business matters. If you wish further info you can contact me via email.

Re: LLC Partner removal

A Connecticut LLC only needs one member, so the answer is yes, unless the operating agreement, if there is one, says otherwise.
