Legal Question in Business Law in Connecticut
A person is performing a spoken marketing video presentation for me free of charge and I will own the rights to the video. Is it better to have a contract for $0.00 or to pay them $1.00 or some small amount so that the contract actually includes compensation? (Connecticut)

As a Franchise Attorney I can say it's always good to have consideration involved. Also be sure they sign a release to use them in the video presentation. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
