Legal Question in Immigration Law in Connecticut
Marrying a noncitizen
The man I am planning to marry is a UK citizen and currently resides there. What steps must be taken for him to travel to the U.S. to marry me; and then reside and work in the U.S. permanently?

Generally either Fiance visa or immigration visa. Which one is better depends on how soon your fiance wants to enter the united states. If you want the absolute fastest way, I would be happy to provide you with a free consultation so you would know how to get that done. Please feel free to contact me directly. You can have my staff patch you directly to me. Thank You. Hisham A. Leil www.hish.com

You need to apply for a fiancee visa for him. Once the fiancee visa is approved and he is able to come to the USA, you must marry him within 90 days and then he will need to apply for adjustment of status to become a US permanent resident and for work authorization. Please contact me if you have any further questions or if you need assistance with this process.
