Long Term Disability Coverage
Are employers in CT required to carry long term disability coverage for their employees? If so, what are the provisions?

Re: Long Term Disability Coverage
Employers in Connecticut are not required to offer long term disability insurance coverage to their employees. If, however, you are out of work for an extended period (lasting or expected to last at least a year) you may want to apply for Social Security Disability benefits.
