Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

Pension

Husband left job after several years. worker's comp issues, company wanted to get rid him. He seems to have alot of money now, could he have possibly taken his pension in a lump sum (even though he has to be 59 1/2 to get it)? Did the Company buy him out and if I divorce him is it still considered his pension and can I still be intitled to half?
