I want out

i'm 16 years old, and my family is planning to move to Texas in a few days. i just wanted to know that if i have a blood relative to live with here in delaware, do i have any say in wheather or not i must go with the rest of the family?

You probably don't have time to ask for emancipation in a few days, but if you can get your parent's permission to allow you to stay with the relatives pending a court date for emanipation, you should be ok.

But, they need to be appointed as your temporary guardians, which can be achieved with a quick trip to a lawyers office and getting a notarized guardianship. You shouldn'tbe left in limbo without an adult who can make medical or legal decisions for you.
