Legal Question in Family Law in Delaware

Child support

When going to mediation for my 2 children with my ex husband for child support does he have to list his 3rd child into the calculation? The 3rd child does not have anything to do w/ us and it was his choice to have him knowing he had 2 other children that he was already responsible for.

Re: Child support

As I am not licensed to practice in DE, I can give you theory of most child support guidelines. . .that beginning with the inclusion of all regular income available to parents, after deducting all those expenses which cannot be avoided, which includes legal obligations to other children. It would be useless to you if you were awarded a child support amount which was not feasible. If the money is not available, what good does an order for a larger amount do you?
