Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Delaware

There was a default judgement entered against me here in Delaware about 8 yrs ago. It resulted from a car accident I was in and never showed for court (not because I didn't want too but because I never received any paperwork. When it was served someone at my Moms signed for it using a fake name but never gave it to me. To this day I still dont' know who it was).

My question is how long does this default judgement last? My license was suspended due to non payment on this judgement and I'm now a certified EMT-B and need my EVO licence to find a job in my field. Can't get a EVO license without a regular license.

If my office is not the one that revoked your license, I may be able to help you negotiate a settlement. It is late to try to challenge service of the original lawsuit. If you want to email information about the judgment to me, there is no charge for me to review it.
