Legal Question in Family Law in District of Columbia

I need some advice. My mother is not letting me see my daughter she has no legal right to do this. What legal action show I take?

Call the police and inform them of the circumstances of t he matter. They may enter the house, remove your daughter, return her to you, and arrest her for parental interference. If they don't intervene, you will have to go to court and seek and emergency order.
