Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I paid my homeowner's association fees for all of 2012. I just found out that our CC&R's expired Dec. 2011. Since I am getting nothing for my money, am I entitled to a refund?

Your question is a bit confusing. Are the CC&Rs;expired as to your lot ? They do not all expire at the same time. Some covenants, depending on chain of title, have been in effect for 50 years (that's the longest Ithink I have seen).
