Legal Question in Disability Law in Florida
Car Purchase
i went to the dealership to have my car repaired an ended up purchasing a new vechile. i was concerned because the vechile did not have hand grips but i was assured that they could be added at the dealship on a later date. the next day i returned to the dealership to inquire about the hand grips and was told that the vechiles with hand grips have to be special ordered. i reminded the salesperson of my disabilites and the promise they made me in reference to the hand grips. he informed me that the new design does not allow for hand grips to be place in the car. i was advise to seek a company to insert the hand grips, at my own risk. i told the saleperson that i could not keep this car unless the make the accomodiation i was promised. his response was'' the company does not have a grace period and the only choice i have is to trade in the car'', (at a significant lost and purchase another vechile who has rails). i am a stroke victim and i have almost fell twice trying to get into the vechile.

Re: Car Purchase
You need a lawyer. I have often written demand letters when there has been misrepresentation such as you describe and sometimes have been able to negotiate a return or the vehicle or alternate satisfaction. You should contact a local attorney or you may contact my office.
