Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

I borrowed 10k from a GF at the time..I hand wrote a letter saying I would pay her back when I sale my house.. I didn't end up selling the house now, she has filed a summons against me. What are my options?

Depends on what your agreement was . . . . but you owe the money, so why not make arrangements to start paying it back. It is not reasonable to assume that you can wait until you sell the house, which may be years and years. She didn't buy into that contingency.
