Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Florida

Car ownership info

My boss owns a business in Florida. He bought a truck for one of his employees to use for work. The employee has made the payments on it since it was purchased, but the truck is in my boss' name. My boss pays for the insurance & gas. Well, the employee quit yesterday and someone told him he has rights to the vehicle since he's (the employee) been paying for it out of his check. My boss writes the payment out of his business acct, so the employee hasn't been paying the finance company directly. It was taken out of his check each month. So, does this ex-employee have rights to this truck? We are in Florida. Thanks!
