Legal Question in Criminal Law in Florida
Someone put sand in the power steering fluid an oil of my car.So far it has cost me $1500 in repairs. The person that did this finally confessed and repaid me for the damages.I have talked to several mechanics and am told that eventually more damage will be caused from the sand. Can I sue this person for the cost of future repairs or replacement of the motor.

While this is really a civil question and not a criminal question, you could. However, by the time you pay the cost of the expert, it may end up costing you more than it is worth. That is assuming an "expert" can prove that this sand will definitely cost some certain amount in the future. You can't speculate as to what it might cost though.
