Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Hi,
A tourist woman from Venezuela came to USA, she met a legal resident man in Miami, FL, after having an affair with him (just a month) she got pregnant. She went back to her country Venezuela because her tourist visa was about to expire and she wants to have the baby there.
Has she rights to claim child support? Has she other rights? What responsibilities has the man with the woman and/or the baby? Thank you

Yes. She can pursue child support in FL. when the child is born. The father should be listed on the birth certificate. Will he admit paternity?
You can file for child support in FL. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659
Although you may pursue the child support for this child, you will need to establish paternity. Then of course there is the matter of getting him to pay since you are in a foreign country. I suggest you contact an immigration family attorney here as soon as possible to learn of your rights.
