Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

non marital custody & DV

We were never married,& I want full

custody of our 2 small kids.I work

full time & he has never worked

more than a few weeks.He has a

LONG arrest record,including 2 DV

charges from me.He has been to

prison & has been diagnosed with

Explosive Impulse Disorder.I have

finally decieded 2 end the 4yr

hell.He & his parnets keep telling

me I cant take my kid & they will lie

to the cops if I get them

involved.What can I do?? I am in

desperate need of help before it

has a chance to turn any uglier than

it is rite now.I dont want to lose my

kids,& have given up my family &

friends to be with him...So I'm

totally on my own with this PLEASE
