Florida Family Medical Leave Act

When an employee takes family medical leave act. it is good for 12 weeks. Do those 12 weeks begin the day you leave work, or the day after you have exhusted all your vacation and sick pay first??

Usually it is the policy of an organization that you first exhaust your sick time and vacation time before the family medical leave time starts.
