Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Non-Solicitation Of Employees Agreement

I left Company A on March 1, and went to work for company B. Prior to my resignation 4 other people had left company A and went to work for Company B. Now company A is suing me for violating my Non-solicitation agreement. I have an Attorney who is being compensated by my current employer. One of the 4 who left Company A has admitted in a writtten statement that she was the one who advised the other 3 that there were positions at company B and the other 3 have also confirmed this. The Attorney for Company A is aware of all of this information but they still are continuing with the suit. At my deposition it was implied that this was a ''grand scheme'' thought up by me since I was the administrator for Companie A's office. My Attorney is now going to ask for Summary Judgement in the case. My question is do I have any grounds for a counter suit since this is obviously a personal attack on me and the suit has no merit at all.

Is there some reason you are not asking your lawyer this question. He is familiar with the case and the facts. You have a lawyer. Don't ask an internet site for an answer when you have a lawyer that can and will advise you.
