Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida
My stepdaughters biological father just shows up at her door one day after not seeing her for almost 33 years. His vehicle is broken down and he and his girlfriend have basically just squatted there for the last 6 weeks. Neither of them has any income and they have worn out there welcome. How do I get them out without getting physical and going to jail myself. A concerned stepfather

File an ejectment action against them. Start with a demand letter advising them to leave by a date certain. Perhaps that will get them moving. Coordinate this with your stepdaughter so it does not escalate beyond your repair.
