I was injured on the job and have been put back to work even though the doctor said no, the company is calling it " light duty", but I am being asked to do things the doctor said I coudn't do in writing. Also, I am being treated like a leper at work.

You need to get the restrictions in writing. You need to provide them to your employer. As an attorney, I always like to send them certified return receipt requested or email and keep the email. You need to either hire an attorney or fax (get confirmation sheet) to adjuster and explain that employer is exceeding restrictions. Go back to doctor and tell him in detail what restrictions are being ignored and how this physically affects you. I'd the employer does not accomodate the restrictions, you are entitled to Temporary Partial Disability benefits paid at 64% of average wages and there are no taxes payable.
