Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

My worker's compensation carrier just suspended my benefits stating that I was released to return to work with "no restrictions. I had not yet seen my doctor this month. The last time I saw him he still said I was released to return to work but "with restriction." My employer wants me at 100%. Is there justification in their suspending my benefits? Am I still entitled to some other income from the work comp carrier once I'm given an MMI disability percentage rating?

Your benefits for temporary partial disability (TPD) should not be suspended until the doctor tells you that you are released at MMI with no restrictions. If you get an impairment rating at MMI you get additional benefits at a reduced rate for a set number of weeks for the impairment.See a workers' compensaiton lawyer for additional specific advice for your case.
