Legal Question in Business Law in Georgia
Taking an advertiser to court over breach of contract
I paid an advertising company $10K to advertise a site. There were several media he was going to use and so far has only fulfilled one of them. The replacement cost for the same internet traffic that is supposed to come back to my site is about $35K (by going to another supplier of web traffic).
1) Can I sue him for the higher number of $35K so that I can still get the targetted internet traffic I wanted in the first place
2) Assuming a breah has taken place, how much is it to get a lawsuit in District Court going by filing it, serving the corporation plaintiff...etc (please ballpark).
Thanks,
George

It is difficult to give you a reliable answer in this type of forum. I think you need to consult with a local attorney because the terms of your agreement with the advertiser need to be examined in detail.
