Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Georgia

Company Issued Credit Card

I was issued a credit card from a previous employer for use during that time. The card had my name first and their name second. I filled out company expense reports, the company sent me a check, and I wrote the credit card company a check. Somewhere along the line there was a discrepency between my expenses and the amount owed on the card. My previous employer said that this was my responsibility, I no longer work there, and now the credit card company is collecting from me. I have been sending $30 a month and still owe around $300. I just want to know if I am the one that should be paying this or should it be my previous employer? Thanks for your help.

Re: Company Issued Credit Card

It depends largely on the terms of the credit card agreement and who it was with. You may have personally guaranteed the card.
