Co-signer, title transfer

My husband traded in a vehicle that I was a co-signer on w/o my knowledge. I didn't agree with the trade-in. Am I required to go back to the dealership to sign a transfer of title or can I simply refuse? My husband was told that they would sue him if I didn't come sign the paperwork.

Since you didn't say if you were also a co-OWNER, there's no way we can answer you. Being a co-debtor is irrelevant to his ability to sell the car.
