Child Custody

Couple living together and has 1 yr old son together. They are not married. They have decided to break-up and mother wants to move out of state. Father is against it. What rights does he have and how does he prevent it?

The father has no rights unless and until he legitimates the child. The mother should consult with a local attorney.
