Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

my daughter lost custody o f her 2 girls to their father. She is find now and able to care for them. The oldest is 14 and youngest is 10.

when it was time to go back after visiting, they cried to stay. She got court order to keep them.

she has had them for 5 months.Does he not have to pay child support . if he signs them over to her The months she has had them while waiting on him to sign them over or go to court.?

They cannot agree to stop child support payments Only court order can do that He has to pay every month or be in contempt and maybe go to jail
