is there a fst way tyo get a divorce in georgia. My wife and I have been seperated for approximatly 6years and I thought that she had fild the divorce papers after I signed them and gave her the money?

The speed of a divorce depends on the county where it happens, if the case is uncontested and other factors. In some cases it can be done in 31 days.

The one way NOT to do it is to sign pro se papers. Get a lawyer to make sure it actually gets done right. The fact that you signed papers (apparently without a lawyer) and then did not properly monitor the filing and progress of the case is exactly the reason you should not be doing a pro se case.
