Civil suit

? Do you have to answer a civil suit against you, if you have not been served papers. Should i try to get in touch with the people who are trying to serve papers to me or should i just leave it alone and let them find me. What should i do?

Not until you are served or until you show up by mail or written acknowledgement and acknowledgement. Service by publication can get around this, but your facts do not lead one to believe publication is a viable alternative, if they know where you are.
