money transferred for a loan

Monies were transferred via wire from one account to another 2 different states , but no promissory note was signed can I still sue for my money back? what legal recourse do I have? I have several emails stating repayment to me in full

Possibly. You don't need a promissory note in order to get repayment. That depends on the situation. If you are owed the money and they do not repay it, you can file in small claims court if it is not more than $15,000.00, or state or superior court if it is over $15,000.00. You will need an attorney if you file in state or superior court.
