Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia
Termination of Employee without prior warnings
Can an employee be terminated by an employer without having documentation of warnings? This employee has a horrible attitude and is not doing their job. Their exposure is to confidential information and they do not need to be kept on after being told of their bad attitude and not doing thier job.

Re: Termination of Employee without prior warnings
As long as there is no contract or policy in place that requires warnings, then, yes. At-will employees can be forced at any time and for any non-discriminatory reason.
