estate question
i am the exicutor of my mothers estate. her lawyer has told me that a credit card co. has contacted him while it was in probate with a $9600 debt. i dont have that money left from what i got. what are my options?

Consult with a local attorney. Your mother's debts should have been paid within six months of your being appointed. If bills were not submitted and your share was distributed to you, you may well have no obligation at all.
