Legal Question in Immigration Law in Hawaii

Hi, I was arrested for DUI last year. had entered a plea of 'no contest' and fulfilled all the court requirements and so my case is supposed to be closed in a few months (when the year is up) with no conviction. my question is how will that affect my application for a green card? i'd like to apply for a green card soon (based on marriage to a green card holder), will i stand a chance or will my application be automatically denied?

If you are convicted with a crime involving moral turpitude, you will have problems with your green card application. We suggest you to consult with an immigration attorney.
