Mispaid checks
A previous employer overwrote my final check. They paid me for two weeks instead of one. DThe money was directly deposited into my checking account. Do I have to pay them the difference back?

Re: Mispaid checks
In general terms, you were only entitled to one week's salary, hence the second week should be returned to the employer. All that should be returned is the net amount that they deposited in your checking account.
