Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
vending/selling
I want to sell something - lets say
little american flags on the 4th of
July. My town says I have to be an
approved vendor (ie: pay the city) to
sell at the park where fireworks are.
Is it legal for me to sell something, as
an individual to people in the street
or sidewalk (which is closed to traffic
on July 4th) ?

Re: vending/selling
Yes, generally speaking, a municipality can require a selling permit. Let me know if you have any further questions: [email protected]

Re: vending/selling
You would have to look at your local municipal code to determine whether you can sell on the street.
