Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
I have three arrests on my criminal record. All the arrests are at least ten years old. They all pertain to difficulties with a former relative. I have no convictions. In 2004 I attempted to have these arrests expunged. Expungement was denied based on the case People vs. Wells. Recently I spoke to a representative of the Illinois State Police Expungement Department. I was informed that all my arrests are expungable. May I make a second attempt to have these arrests expunged?
Thank you for your time,
Ricardo

you can, but your record will only be expunged if the charge/conviction is something that can be expunged. if you want to discuss further, i can be reached at 312-372-5600.
