if a person has mentally illnesdriveing underhis med'sgetinto trouble with law. where do's he stand? some hischargers are crimal they are takeing his car from him can they did this?plus i would to know if i could get some kindfor grandship over somebodythatover 28yr how much would this coast?

Hello and Happy New Year. Even if this person suffers from mental illness, his best bet is to get a lawyer to help him out of this trouble. Mental illness in some cases can be a defense to a criminal charge. It would probably benefit him if you became his legal guardian, but it depends upon the extent of his disability, if any. Give careful thought to whether you really want to be his legal guardian. Will be happy to discuss this with you further and in more detail.
