Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

When a court order is issued (Oakland county Michigan) specifically stating that certain actions be taken before a certain date, what options does the Plaintiff have if that court order is not followed. Will the court immediately take action to remedy this situation or does the Plaintiff have to file a motion for further action or demanding some type of recourse?

You have asked Illinois lawyers a question of Michigan law, If this were in Illinois, the order is probably not self-executing, meaning a motion has to be filed. Otherwise the court has no idea its order is not being followed.
