Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

Mistake on Child support

My husband went to court last week (32 W Randolph) He was never married. Well we just want to know if they made a mis-calculation of the child support his net income is 1260. a month THAT NET and they calculated $550. a month for 2 kids and its 28% but for the net income its suppose to be 408. a month. So they calculated according to his gross income plus daycare so that leaves him with 900. to live on. Can this be corrected? Another thing is that they arent going to garnish his checks is it okay for my wife to make the checks out to her and I just sign my name on the other side? With the case number?

Re: Mistake on Child support

Hello. Whoever made the calculations made a big

mistake. This needs to be taken care of quickly.

Get back to 32 W. Randolph right away (before

30 days). It is also a good idea to have the

child support deducted from your husband's wages.

I will be happy to answer any additional questions

you might have.
