Pending Lawsuits After a divorce

I just received a divorced from my wife who committed adultery. For the last 2.5 years of our marriage she sued someone for an accident that we were in. She claimed that she was hurt in the accident from the person who hit our car. The case should settle soon. Do I get 50% of the lawsuit?

If this is settled after the divorce is final and it wasn't included in the marital settlement agreement, you are out of luck. The lawyer you had should have advised you of your right to 50% BEFORE the matter was settled and the judge signed the order. I'm assuming that you told your lawyer.
