Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

what happens if you realize your attorney has done a terrible thing in your case. something like sending to the judge evidence of child abuse, not telling you to be in court so that the allegations are not defended and he sends all these allegations of child abuse to the divorce judge as representing you. Then continues with this masquerade as if he is on your side when he intentionally made sure you would never your child again . That the allegations of child abuse he never challenged; he agreed with them; and then had your visitation suspended permanently. Also he told you that custody had never been determined but once the op was entered you lost custody. Is there anything I can do? my husband died but my visitation with my daughter was suspended. Now that my husband is dead what can i do? Of course I am not a child abuser. How can I show that my attorney was not really representing me but was against me?

You may file a complaint against an attorney with the disciplinary commission in the state where the attorney is licensed. They will perform an investigation.

I don't know all of the details of your case, but typically if someone wants visitation with their child they file a motion for it with the court.
