Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I recently filed for divorce in DuPage County. I received a copy of the petition today and the initial status review/case management date is July 14. My attorney requested temporary maintenance due to the fact that my husband has cut me off financially. I am working part-time currently but for the past 18 years have primarily stayed at home to raise our children and manage the household. Will I have to wait two months until July 14 to get an answer about the temporary maintenance?

The scheduling is up to your attorney. He can schedule presentation of the motion in about 1 week, but there are forms you have to complete - financial disclosure forms before you seek support. Best to ask him or her about the timing
