Pardons for unadmonished
Can residents who took a plea bargain and were not told that they can be deported as a resoult file any thing to head off a deportation hearing?Who have not yet been snatched up yet by i.N.S and have children that are u.S citizens. These persons were never admonished. And were on supervision-probation and didnot go to prison??

Re: Pardons for unadmonished
If the individual is an illegal alien and has violated one of the many laws which could lead to deportation then yes the person can face deportation charges. The fact that the person was not advised of the potential problems with the plea bargain can be brought into evidence at a hearing. However I do not believe that would be a huge factor in the deportation hearing. I suggest you speak with an attorney as soon as possible to look into this issue in greater detail.
