Legal Question in Immigration Law in Illinois
I recently withdrew the petition with immigration for my husband's green card thus denying my him the green card. What can I do to remedy the situation?
1 Answer from Attorneys
I suggest, you consult or even hire an immigration attorney.
If a petition (I assume, it was the I-130) was withdrawn, and you submitted your request in writing, possibly accusing your husband in wrongdoing or marrying you for immigration benefits (a serious federal crime). A new petitition might be required.
