Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois
I had an unemployment hearing in February that I won against my former employer. They appealed the decision and have now given a new reason for why I was terminated. This new reason is completely different than the original reason and I had no chance to speak to this new reason because I had no idea what they were referring to, can they do this?

Did they appeal to the Board of Review or did the new reason come up in the hearing?
