Legal Question in Employment Law in Illinois

I worked in retail full time and only made 11 dollars an hour. In my store we had a lot of customer theaft. More than once if I caught the customer stealing they would threaten me. Example some girl said if I keep watching her shes going to hit me. I also would repeatedly get called names by customer if I didn't return there items that were not compliant by the return policy. I also had a customer physically hit my hand because I wouldn't give her a 10% discount. So I am trying to file for unemployment even thought I quit. Do you think I can be apporved for it?
