Do I get a mailbox?

Our apartment building has no mail slot in the door, just one mailbox on the outside of the building for two apartments to share. Is this acceptable, or does the landlord have to provide individal mailboxes?

The landlord would not have to provide them unless your lease agreement states otherwise.
